Meet our Physical Therapist and discover our dedication to providing excellent
Visceral Manipulation and Pelvic Therapy.

Welcome to Trailhead Pelvic & Visceral Physical Therapy.

Dr. Sunel Vanderwalt has received specialized training in visceral manipulation, neural manipulation, and pelvic physical therapy. This training allows her to effectively address various conditions, particularly those related to nerves and abdominal and pelvic health.

With extensive experience in various settings, Dr. Sunel has worked with clients facing diverse diagnoses. Her background includes caring for athletes during the 1995 Rugby World Cup and earning a transitional doctorate in physical therapy focusing on pediatrics. This unique combination of experience and education enables her to work competently with individuals of all ages.

Dr. Sunel believes her career allows her to combine many of her interests: helping and connecting with people, empowering them to tackle complex issues, and indulging her passion for anatomy.

She is dedicated to providing excellent care in an environment that may not feel like traditional physical therapy. Her holistic approach includes education, fun exercises, and gentle manual therapy.

Our therapist is excited to meet you!

“On more than one occasion, Sunel has been the one who has been able to pinpoint the cause of my pain correctly when others have failed.”
